Job Description:
Parsons Corporation is seeking a
Project Coordinator
to assist Project Managers and the Logistics Team in the management of complex technical security system projects.
Work Location:
Alexandria, VA and Sterling, VA (as needed)Citizenship/Passport/Security Clearance:
The candidate must be a US citizen and have a minimum of a SECRET level clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
Responsibilities:
Ability to comprehend project plans and complex construction related schedules.
Ability to review construction related bill of materials.
Ability to perform data entry into purchase requisition system.
Ability to track and report on the status of material requisitions.
Ability to track and report on the status of shipments.
Ability to maintain and track high dollar value asset inventory.
Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to monitor and report on construction project schedules.
Ability to complete required reporting, and project documentation.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
Ability to operate a forklift once trained and licensed.
Ability to unload, inventory, and stage material at DoS posts around the world.
Education/Experience:
High school/GED equivalent plus relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
CMMS experience.
ILMS experience.
Logistics experience.
Warehouse experience.
Travel:
0%- 25% to high threat posts as needed.
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
Secret
