In partnership with physician and administrative leaders, takes the leadership role in developing, articulating, and implementing a shared vision and a comprehensive strategic and operational plan for neurosciences services and the Ambulatory CRU. Establishes priorities for and evaluates the progress and success that positions Children's Wisconsin Neurosciences services as the premier provider of services for care in Wisconsin. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to assure the direction, planning, and evaluation of service delivery, outcomes, and overall operations. Establishes key partnerships with physicians and administrative colleagues, community providers, and interest groups that influence referral patterns and standard setting practices in care. Promotes and grows referrals to build a regional center of excellence.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related field.

A current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin.

ANCC leadership certification and/or Specialty clinical nursing certification within three years of hire.

Ten or more years of progressively responsible clinical leadership experience to include knowledge of organization, operation and coordination of hospital activities.

Proven abilities in program development and expansion required.

Excellent consultative, collaboration and communication skills necessary to partner with teams from Children’s Wisconsin, Medical College, physicians, patients, families and others from the community to achieve customer goals.

Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex healthcare challenges.

Proficient financial management skills, including budgeting and financial analysis.

In-depth knowledge of healthcare operations, regulations, and industry trends.

Proficient in utilizing technology and data analytics to drive decision-making and process improvement.

Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and delivering patient-centered care.
