will act as an QA and Automation development engineer for EUV source software releases. This role is responsible for software integration, qualification and automation, verifying whether the software behaves according to ASML requirements and customer expectations.Role and responsibilitiesDevelop software to automate software integration, qualification tasksDevelop visualization dashboards to update integration, qualification statusUsing Agile methodology to develop the software using PythonCreating designs and implementing code that are modular, scalable, robust and meet quality requirementsProvide support for the software development team to create software branches and integrate to release branchesIntegrate and create software release candidatesQualify software in virtual, simulated environmentsExecute the defined system level test setAnalyze test results, troubleshoot issues arising during testing, raise defects and ensure the delivering project accepts ownershipCreate test result documents as required to support internal and external program reviewsEnsure successful completion of system-level testing, reliability testing, and any activity required to support a quality software releaseAssign verdicts to reliability issuesEducation and experienceRequires a minimum Bachelor's Degree in science and engineering such as computer science, physics, or electrical engineeringExperience programming in Python is a mustData analysis using Pandas and JupyterExperience with Spark/Pyspark or other big data platformsQA experience strongly preferredSkillsKnowledge of software engineering principlesExperience with programming, scripting and test automation in PythonExperience working on Linux and/or Unix operating systemsExperience with test driven development (TDD), and/or behavior driven development (BDD) is a plusAnalytic skills needed for initial investigation of issues found in testsTake initiative and ownership of issues beyond your formal area of responsibilitySelf-starter; self-motivator; willing to do what it takes to get the job doneExcellent interpersonal and teamwork skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working in Agile teamsOther informationPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretchThe employee is occasionally required to move around the campusThe employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 poundsMay require travel dependent on business needsThe employee is occasionally required to support off-hours/on-call phone support for escalationsThis position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.The current base annual salary range for this role is currently: $105,000-175,000. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.The Company offers employees and their families medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan.
