Purpose of Job:

Assist with all accounting and billing functions within the department.

Primary Responsibilities:Assist in all program check runsCreate deposit slips for all refundsPrepare and enter all month-end journal entries and account maintenance and reconciliations for all bank accountsSupport financial close process for month and year endCreate billing invoices and provide customer service support for all Share of Cost clientsAssist in mail pick-up and bank deposits

Required Qualifications:Valid California driver's license and transportationProven attention to detail & quality focusedDemonstrated analytical & comprehensive skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively under the pressure of strict time constraints and changing prioritiesProven sound decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, detail-oriented and shows initiativeProven understanding of MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:College degree or High school diploma or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in accountingExperience with IDX systems

California Residents Only:

The hourly range for this role is $16.54 to $32.55 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
