Position Summary:

The Sr. Director of M&A will be responsible for the organization’s existing portfolio of assets and lead all M&A transactions from inception to execution throughout North America. This position will work cross-functionally within the business to develop specific strategic plans, research potential acquisition targets and strategic investments.

Responsibilities:

Source, evaluate, and screen acquisition and divestment opportunities, performing initial valuations and due diligence aligned with corporate growth goals.

Manage the entire project acquisition and divestiture process, including origination, screening, valuation, bid structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and closing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with diligence guidelines, investment metrics, and project cash flow forecasts.

Develop and manage tools and deliverables to track transaction pipelines, origination activities, and identify growth opportunities.

Coordinate due diligence efforts with third-party consultants and vendors.

Work with the finance team to build relationships with key financing and advisory partners.

Partnering with key stakeholders for the finalization of the business proposal and presentation to Executive Leadership for approval.

Carry out strategic analysis & leverage Microsoft Office tools to convey findings.

Manage the execution of engagement letters, confidentiality agreements, offer memoranda, MOU’s/LOI’s, and definitive agreements.

Ensure proper integration plans are designed and executed, as applicable for closed acquisitions.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related discipline.

7+ years of relevant experience in M&A or finance roles within construction, private equity, or investment banking.

Knowledge of tax equity and investment tax credit transfer structuring.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills with project management experience.

Advanced quantitative skills, including expertise in analytical and financial modeling.

Solid written and presentation preparation skills; proficiency in Word, PowerPoint.

Self-driven with exceptional attention to detail and persistent work ethic.
