As a physician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients within the scope of your qualifications and experience. Principal responsibilities will include the clinical care of patients within a physician-led, patient-centered team-based environment, where the focus is on the provision of high-quality, value-based care.Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessmentsDevelop and implement personalized treatment plans for patientsPrescribe medication and other appropriate therapiesOrder and interpret diagnostic tests and imagingPerform medical procedures and surgeries when necessaryMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededEffectively communicate with patients, families, and colleaguesMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in a timely fashionStay current with latest medical research, treatments, and technologiesParticipate in CME and peer review activitiesCollaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals to optimize patient careWork collaboratively with Advanced Practice ProvidersParticipate in the education of clinical learners (residents, APP students, etc.)Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomesEnsure safe care is provided to all patientsAdhere to the highest ethical and professional standards of medical practiceUphold patient confidentiality and privacyComply with all relevant laws and regulationsQualifications

Doctorate MD or DO from an accredited medical school requiredMust have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialtyBe board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to the hospitalObtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registrationObtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health systemCurrent and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state requiredStrong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based medicineExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassion, empathy, and a commitment to patient-centered careAbility to work collaboratively in a healthcare teamCommitment to ongoing professional development and CMEWorking Conditions
