The Company has operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, France, the U.K., Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and China.Position Purpose:Seeking world-class talent to join the world’s leading distributor of automotive and industrial replacement parts and value-added services operating 5,500+ locations and servicing more than 20,000 locations in the U.S and Canada. Specifically, this role will function as a new product and innovation focused Staff UX Designer, reporting to the Sr Director of UX Design & Research. You will work with a motivated and talented team, playing a key role in directing the design and build of products for the customer of the world’s largest automotive and industrial replacement parts distribution companies. You will have a start-up mentality and enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-moving environment.Responsibilities:Lead the UX strategy and design of new products for Repair Shop Management.Direct the work of a small team of hands-on designers.Coach and mentor designers, provide guidance on best methods, principles and processes.Collaborate closely with product to define and deliver market leading outcomes.Cooperate with your UX Research partner to obtain critical insights.Translate user needs and business requirements into groundbreaking new user value.Coordinate the design of prototypes for user testing to validate and improve designs.Demonstrate the ability to clearly communicate design decisions.Present designs to and gather feedback from stakeholders.Proactively identify and communicate risks & issues and mitigate.Contribute to and improve broader UX team design processes & methods.Stay up to date with current design trends and technology advancements.Other duties as assigned.Location:GPC has two work locations to choose from, Duluth or Atlanta office.
