ABOUT THE POSITION
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position has knowledge and proven expertise in:
Klaviyo and Attentive Mobile
eCommerce-focused email + SMS marketing
Email + SMS data and analytics
Broadcast and triggered email + SMS strategy
Email design
Email + SMS copywriting
Audience segmentation and targeting
A/B testing (content, copy, visuals, cadence, and more)
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for collaborating on and/or independently managing:
Email + SMS Strategy
: Develop, implement, test, and consistently refine strategies for both day-to-day Broadcast email and Triggered/Automated Flow emails and text messages with a sharp focus on improving user engagement, increasing sales, and maintaining a healthy outbound marketing program.
Email Creation:
Design compelling, accurate, well-branded, engaging emails for our eCommerce brand using InDesign, Photoshop, or Canva. Load emails to Klaviyo with attention paid to key elements such as link strategy, content planning, subjects and pre-headers, and flow placement.
SMS Creation:
Write compelling content designed to keep SMS subscribers engaged, subscribed, informed, and repurchasing.
Email + SMS Automation/Flow Creation:
Strategize, build, test, troubleshoot, and implement automated flows in Klaviyo and Attentive. Execute ongoing A/B tests in flows. This includes Welcome, Abandonment, Win-Back, Nurture, Repurchase, Cross-Sell, and other triggered content.
A/B Testing:
Regularly test written and visual content, subjects, links, cadence, segmentation, and other messaging elements to optimize performance and improve account health as well as open, click, and conversion rates.
Segmentation and Targeting:
Build and test various segments with a focus on retention, conversions, and overall engagement.
Compliance:
Ensure that all outbound content complies with all legal requirements (EG: CAN-SPAM, TCPA)
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or at least 3 years of highly relevant experience
Graphic design skills, specifically in eCommerce email creation
Expertise in Klaviyo and Attentive Mobile (Shopify experience a bonus)
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
Demonstrable data/analytics skills and experience
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
