Gala is seeking a
Product Manager
for one of our Core Chain products and its affiliated features. The ideal candidate is an analytical product manager with experience dealing with trading finance, preferably DeFi products. Gala has transitioned from being a web3 games and entertainment provider to being a leader in the world of blockchains, with Gala Chain disrupting the ecosystem with its new offerings like GalaSwap and GalaCloud on its chain. The role involves converting simple strategies to detailed specifications with the best user flows (using wireframes and mockups) and a strong analytical mindset to report product metrics through its life cycle. The candidate will also be responsible for analyzing user funnels across the product and its features. This is a major opportunity to grow with the growth of products from 1 to 100.You will be a part of a company of super-achievers who work together to bring forth the evolution of entertainment. The ideal candidate has prior blockchain experience, excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic. We want someone with experience and passion for web3, cryptocurrency, and NFTs. We would love someone with a deep passion for games, strong product management skills, and an impressive track record for working in a fast-paced, evolving, creative-minded environment.Responsibilities
Work with a cross-functional engineering team to break down strategies (directional input) into detailed product/feature specifications (technical, when required) and live ops.Drive feature roadmap through data, i.e., generate expected outcomes with data analysis from existing funnels and market data, create forecast models, and perform funnel analysis.Produce wireframes and UI/UX breakdowns optimized for the best user experience.Develop sales and monetization techniques, tokenomics, and go-to-market strategies along with marketing teams.Report weekly performance metrics and provide valuable insights into business cases with in-depth data analysis.Conduct user research and surveys across and outside our target audiences.Essential Skills and Qualifications
Undergraduate/Bachelors in math, statistics, finance, or computer science/engineering.Masters in business administration from a Tier 1 school is desirable.Work Experience: 2+ years in software development with 1+ years of business/data analysis or BI experience.In-depth experience with SQL and API design.Blockchain/crypto experience in a personal/hobbyist setting; professional setting preferred.Strong quantitative data analysis & critical thinking skills with sharp attention to detail.Experience with Figma or other prototyping or wireframing tools.Outstanding written and oral communication skills.Ability to articulate technical matters with business people and business matters with technical people.Self-motivated, stellar work ethic, fun collaborator.Excited by problem-solving.Fearless.Nice-to-Have Skills and Qualifications
