1st Shift Press Operator

1st Shift Machine Operator

PAY:

•  Press operator – monitor press (or multiple) for proper operation
• Operate check valve assembly machine
• Operate link & Lever assembly and weld station
• Operate tap machine – load, unload, and test output
• Run parts for inspection approval
• Monitor press or machine for quality products, safe operation, and machine damage
• Inspect, sort, and rework parts as needed to continue the manufacturing process
• Document statistical process control

•  Run press/machine
• Check parts for gauging/ measuring
• Obtain inspection approval

• Check for proper feed
• Lubricate as necessary
• Assemble, weld, and process parts per operator instructions for part
• Check for any machine malfunctions resulting in damaged parts or machine

• Pick up part
• Measure part
• Return part to bin
• Record measurements
