We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our team, based in Wisconsin or Minnesota, covering clients across the surrounding states. Our ideal candidate is smart, outgoing, highly organized, and assertive, with the ability to cultivate meaningful, long-term relationships with clients through a mix of in-person meetings, email, and phone communication.

This is a home office-based role with regular travel required within your territory. Previous experience in contract furniture sales is a strong advantage.

Primary Responsibilities• Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs, offering expert guidance on furniture solutions, preparing detailed quotes, and managing the entire order process from consultation to fulfillment.• Deliver impactful presentations of FurnitureLab products and services to clients via webinars and in-person meetings, highlighting features and benefits tailored to their needs.• Conduct in-person visits within your designated territory 2-3 times monthly to strengthen relationships and directly address customer needs.• Manage projects through our comprehensive database system (Mac OSX based).• Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, meeting both monthly and quarterly goals through proactive engagement and relationship management.• Establish and leverage personal relationships with key accounts (dealers, designers, end-users) to drive Opportunities and Sales from those firms.

Job Qualifications• College degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in sales, account management, or a related field.• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably within the contract furniture industry or a similar sector.• Proficiency with technology and the ability to quickly learn new software and tools.• Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage customer relationships and track sales performance.• Design experience or a strong interest in design (preferred), with the ability to understand and discuss design-related projects and specifications.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining strong client relationships.• Self-motivated and results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.• Willingness to travel 2-3 times per month within the assigned territory.
