job summary:
An Quality Inspector is needed for a manufacturer of optics products in the Bartlett, TN area. The quality control inspector ensures compliance with company standards by performing various inspections and tests, using specialized tools and systems.
location: Bartlett, Tennessee
job type: Contract
salary: $19.72 - 22.00 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm
education: High School
responsibilities:
Perform incoming or first article inspection and create supporting records and reports.
Coordinate, perform, and report on inspections of materials, parts, and products to ensure compliance with company requirements.
Understand lot sampling per ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008.
Perform final/sterile release of products.
Conduct in-process inspections.
Inspect labels.
Perform Device History Record (DHR) final review.
Conduct specified functional inspection tests.
Skills:
Must have knowledge and experience to operate the following inspection tools.
Micrometer.
Optical Comparator.
Must have the knowledge and experience to operate the following advanced measurement systems.
Basic computer skills as required to perform job duties.
Must have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Two (2) year Technical Degree preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a quality control regulated industry required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
ASQ Certification preferred.
