PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for an HVAC superintendent in Ashville NC. In this role you will be a in charge of overseeing HVAC projects. Some responsibilities include managing all on site aspects of HVAC install, safety management, quality and ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner. This is a permanent position, and we are looking for someone who is motivated, driven, and ambitious to work in a commercial construction environment.
The pay rate for this job is $42 - $46 / hour
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage HVAC projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution
Identify and resolve project-related issues Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians, subcontractors, and other personnel
Ensure that HVAC installations comply with project specifications, codes, and safety standards Implement and enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing project updates as needed
Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports and progress reports Perform various tasks as they arise
Qualifications:
Minimum 8 years' experience as an HVAC Superintendent in commercial and industrial projects
knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, and industry best practices.
leadership and team management skills.
Understanding of safety regulations and practices in construction.
Communication and interpersonal skills.
interpret construction plans and specifications.
Have OSHA 10 or greater safety certification
HVAC-related certifications and licenses not required but preferred
Reliable transportation
