In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with a dynamic team of Software Engineers and Developers to create and deploy the USGS PISA (Project In Status Application). This tool, accessible through The National Map, delivers real-time updates on 3DHP Hydrology data projects, revolutionizing how we conduct research, monitor, and interact with geographic information.
You will be at the forefront of designing and implementing innovative software applications, developing and testing complex systems to meet user needs, and resolving any technical challenges that arise. Additionally, you'll contribute to the PTS Product Tracking System, helping internal federal employees efficiently track Hydrography and Elevation data for the National Map. Your expertise will be crucial in driving these essential projects forward.

Qualifications:
Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related area.
4-6 years of experience in software development or a related field.
Demonstrated Technical proficiency with Python, Django, PostGIS, AWS
Experience with React.JS
Knowledge of Data handling, related industry standard applications
Additional desirable skills include:
Understanding of publishing services
Building and running complex queries
Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, Terraform
Salary: $60K-65K
