Offset Printing Press Feeder

Pay: $19-20 DOE

This position is Hourly and full-time and requires a flexible schedule that may include weekends and evenings.

We seek a highly skilled candidate with a strong sense of quality and continuous improvement as an Offset Press Feeder/Helper in Lakewood, WA. This position is responsible for properly, safely, and efficiently feeding unprinted sheets into the printing press.

Successful Candidate possesses the following competencies:

The position requires a positive attitude, excellent attendance, the ability to work in a team environment, and the ability to lift and transfer materials up to 50 lbs daily.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts; Must be open to working flexible hours, including early shifts, late shifts, weekends, and OT as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Perform standard set-up, maintenance, and operation of the pressComply with equipment specifications, safety, and company proceduresPack printed material onto pallets utilizing various types of automated stacking equipmentAssist in hanging plates; remove, and gums used platesPerforms ink wash-upsMaintain ink levels at one-half full minimum when the press is runningPerform routine and preventative maintenance on all assigned equipmentKeep the area organized, safe, and efficientMinimum Requirements

Knowledge of basic computer skillsGood attention to detail while multi-taskingAble to lift and move 50lbs regularlyAble to follow written and verbal instructionsOne year of experience in a manufacturing environmentRegular and predictable attendance is required, as is working overtime when needed, including weekends, irregular hours, or holidays. (Doubletime for Holidays worked)
