The Content Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing content strategies that align with our marketing goals. This role involves creating engaging and high-quality content, overseeing content distribution across various platforms, and analyzing content performance.

This role involves working with Marketing, Sales, Agency Partners, Clinicians, Physicians, and Company Stakeholders to create engaging, human-centric content. The work will help generate leads and retain patients. The role also includes building the company’s presence across advertising, printed marketing materials, email, social media, web, in-person events, and more. In addition to being adaptable and growth-minded, passion for helping people with their fertility and family-building journeys is essential.

This role will report directly to the Vice President (VP) of Marketing.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing goals.

Create, edit, and publish high-quality content for various channels, including blogs, websites, social media, advertising campaigns, and other marketing materials.

Create emotional success stories, educational content, and thought leadership content to engage with potential patients, referring physicians, and industry partners across all marketing channels.

Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute content marketing campaigns.

Manage social media strategy across all social media platforms including content calendars, social media page management, social media content development (educational and user-generated content), and social media community engagement.

Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to refine content strategies and improve engagement.

Manage a multi-channel content calendar, ensuring not only timely execution but also alignment to the overall content strategy.

Own the day-to-day for content creation tasks, including managing the intake of ad hoc content requests, shepherding content through the production process, and providing editorial feedback to ensure clarity and alignment with brand tone and voice.

Coordinate with designers, writers, and other content creators to ensure consistent brand messaging that resonates with target audiences.

Support public relations efforts through press release development and distribution and earned media opportunity coordination.

Stay updated with industry trends and emerging content marketing technologies.

Conduct market research to identify content opportunities and gaps.

Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice.

Manage an external team of content creators (agency partners, freelancers, contractors, etc.) providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality output.

Collaborate with marketing team members, center leaders, company leadership, physicians, clinicians, and company stakeholders to support content and communications needs to meet business goals.

Partner with Agency Partners, SEO, and broader marketing team to optimize and execute a multi-channel content distribution strategy (through social media, organic search, paid placement, email campaigns, etc.)

Support internal communication efforts from company leadership to stakeholders across the organization.

Conduct keyword research and use SEO best practices to inform SEO and content strategies.

Collaborate with leadership and industry partners to support advocacy and communications efforts for access to IVF.

Support content calendar and email creation for email marketing programs for physician recruitment and physician engagement activities.

Other duties as assigned by VP of Marketing and leadership.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field; required

Minimum of 5 years as a Content Manager or similar role; required.

Experience with social media management and email marketing tools.

Additional Skills and Requirements:

An excellent writer with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to distill clinical or scientific research and complex data into digestible written resources.

Adaptability with an ability to adjust to changing priorities.

Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform content strategies.

Understanding of digital content management systems.

Experience with social media management.

Healthcare experience strongly preferred. Fertility experience (either professional or personal) is a plus.

A strong sense of empathy for patients experiencing infertility with a knack for emotional storytelling.

Experience with multimedia content creation such as video and audio for podcasts and social media.

Physical requirements: Requires sustained periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Travel Requirements: This job is remote. Rare travel may be required on occasion (example: In-person team building).
