The Senior Photo Art Director will be responsible for directing on-set photography projects across all brands as well as managing other photo art directors and their teams. They will be required to execute on-set photo direction for product shots, aspirational and lifestyle images and to develop creative concepts for campaigns. The position would also involve developing relationships with key stakeholders from internal teams to create photography guidelines that establish photo styling rules for each merchandising department.

Exceptional creative thinking and excellent photo art direction skills.

Ability to translate style guidelines for individual brands and channels through lighting, styling and propping.

Ability to successfully lead and give clear direction to multiple stylists and photographer teams.

Ability to multi-task teams and projects against brand goals and deadlines.

Ability to collaborate with the producer to identify production levels and schedule freelance consultants to fit the required workflow.

Ability to collaborate with internal and external teams to develop successful workflows.

Ability to grade and develop the individual skillsets of team members.

Knowledge of Food Group brands, merchandise categories and individual gifts.

Requirements:

BA/BFA in photography, graphic design, advertising or related field.

Strong conceptual and photo art direction skills.

8+ years' experience with an in-house photo/design group or design/advertising agency or related experience.

Proficient in Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite design software: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

A high energy team player that has the ability to successfully lead and motivate others and enjoys being a part of a team.

Able to work quickly and accurately in a challenging, fast paced environment while meeting short deadlines. Strong organizational skills.

Ability to maintain open communication and build trust with co-workers and superiors, as well as working across multiple production platforms for organizing, scheduling, and producing photography.
