We are a dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced team that is highly collaborative internally and externally, leveraging shared resources and creating innovative solutions that amplify our partner's work.As the Senior Content Manager for Whole Foods Market Foundation (WFMF), you will play a crucial role in helping to tell the Foundation’s story through our digital, print and internal communication channels. You will be a pillar of the Communications Team and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders including Whole Cities, Whole Kids and Whole Planet program teams.WFMF is seeking a candidate with strong skills in content development and strategy, particularly in repurposing content to engage diverse audiences across multiple platforms. The position requires a motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in collaboration, creativity, and content innovation.This position is located in Austin, TX.Responsibilities:End-to-end content and copywriting creation, including both short and long form, for blog posts, press releases, partner spotlights, email newsletters, social media channels, websites, presentations, in-store signage and additional formats as needed.Work collaboratively with the WFMF Communications Team on overall comms strategy with ownership of planning and executing on-time delivery for all content elements.Build and maintain our content management system and support the Communication’s Team content calendar.Collaborate with the Senior Communications Manager for website content and complete content updates for all Foundation and project sites.Work closely with the Senior Communications Manager to develop social media content strategy and serve as social media moderator for Foundation social channels.Support campaign fundraising efforts including creation and growth of donor base in coordination with the Development Team; execution of digital fundraising content and sponsor/supplier content support.Collaborate closely with the WFMF Programs team to develop and execute a content strategy that amplifies partner success stories while aligning with and enhancing their programmatic goals.Track the performance of content using analytics tools to measure engagement and conversions. Report on content effectiveness to the broader team, offering insights for future campaigns and recommendations on comms strategy as needed.Collaborate with internal and external content creators to produce photography, graphics, videos and other content mediums.Handle basic design and photo editing, as needed.Requirements:BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field and 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.Knowledge and passion for mission-driven work.Must have writing, proofreading and editing skills; experience using asset-based language a plus.Experience managing projects from concept to fruition with demonstrated success.Exceptional organizational skills and an ability to manage lots of details simultaneously.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be a team player.Advanced user of digital marketing tools and platforms.Mobile filming, photography and editing experience.Familiarity with retail business or supplier relations.*Please submit samples of previous work or link to content portfolio with your resume submission.Travel requirement: Occasional travel up to 25%.At Whole Foods Market, we provide a fair and equal employment opportunity for all Team Members and candidates regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, marital status, disability, or any other legally protected characteristic.
