This position is responsible for ensuring our clients are receiving high quality care and delivering high quality care when working in a hands-on setting.

To be eligible for this position, you must have strong IV skills, feel comfortable working in a home setting, be able to work autonomously, be confident in your ability to train new nurses in the home setting, have excellent communication skills, electronic documentation skills and time management skills. Must be comfortable working with all age ranges: pediatric - geriatric. You must also be comfortable with wound care such as caring for pressure wounds, dressing changes, wound vacs.

Patient locations will be throughout KS and MO areas.

RN Responsibilities:

Provides professional input on medically complex cases and supports assigned nursing staffAssess, plans and implements appropriate healthcare services in conjunction with physician, family, and other caregiversDevelops plan of treatment for physician signature and regularly updates according to state regulations or more frequently due to change in ordersManages own caseload and coordinates own scheduleProvide in home training and competency checks to new staff membersPerforms care as defined by client's individual Plan of Care and within scope of state's nurse practice actMonitors patient's condition and notifies physician of any changesProvides education to patient, patient family and others involved in patient care planFollows all processes and policies as defined by the State and Joint CommissionPrepares clinical documentation electronically in real-time during visits and submits timely to Clinical ManagerAssure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.RN Requirements:

Current unrestricted RN license in KS and MOReliable car and auto insuranceValid Driver's LicenseCurrent CPR Certification (BLS- Red Cross or American Heart Association) *we offer a class at a reduced cost if you need your BLS*Negative TB test within last yearClean background and criminal recordLaptop or Tablet that can be used in patient's home for charting purposesCOVID VaccineAdhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
