As a Graphic Designer II, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and executing design projects across various mediums, ensuring they align with our brand identity and objectives. This position requires a combination of strong design skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Design Development: Collaborate with the creative team to translate concepts and ideas into visually compelling designs across print, digital, and multimedia platforms.Branding and Identity: Develop and maintain a strong visual identity for our brand, ensuring consistency across all design assets.Graphic Design: Create engaging and impactful designs for marketing collateral, advertisements, presentations, social media, and other promotional materials.Knowledgeable working with developers and UX teams to design and optimize website layouts, and graphics to create visually appealing and user-friendly web experiences. Some HTML and CSS required.Print Production: Prepare print-ready files, collaborate with external vendors, and ensure high-quality production of marketing materials.Creative Ideation: Participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute innovative ideas, and provide design recommendations to meet project objectives.Design Trends and Technologies: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices, integrating them into projects as appropriate.Collaboration and Communication: Effectively communicate design concepts, ideas, and rationale to stakeholders and team members, ensuring clarity and alignment.Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of design work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines and project specifications.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional design experience in an agency or in-house creative team.Design Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools. Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.Web Design: Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and web development platforms is advantageous.Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work that demonstrates creativity, technical proficiency, and attention to detail.Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with stakeholders, and incorporate feedback into design iterations.Time Management: Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and ideas clearly and concisely.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift 10 pounds (laptop for remote work)Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time.Move about inside the office for meetings and to access office equipmentAbility to sit for long periods of time at a computer utilizing a phone with headsetOperate a keyboard for system access and email communicationPosition primarily communicates verbally with clients through phone and call center software.Working conditions:Indoors, climate-controlled officeWhat we bring to the table:A generous and well-funded health coverageComplementary short-term disability and term life insurance.
