OverviewThe Executive Assistant will support the overall didactic and clinical educational programs at Touro College of Dental Medicine (TCDM). Working directly for the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, the Executive Assistant will interact frequently with executive leadership, faculty, staff, students, and the public. The incumbent in this role must be a resourceful individual who takes the initiative to increase efficiencies and lead in planning and organizing schedules. The Executive Assistant will work to ensure that TCDM operates effectively, efficiently, and professionally.Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Providing administrative support for projects, meetings, and other recurring events as well as impromptu or special events within the College/Clinic environments.Answering phones and greeting visitors while providing customer service to executive leadership, faculty, staff, and students.Scheduling appointments and meetings and maintaining various schedules and calendars.Preparing communications, such as memos, emails, reports, and other correspondence.Processing reimbursements and handling other financial matters including invoices.Writing and editing documents including letters and reports.Creating and maintaining filing systems, both electronic and physical.Performing light administrative work for TCDM’s Marketing and Communications office.Other tasks and duties as assigned.Qualifications

Education/ExperienceAssociate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.Some administrative experience preferred.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesThe ability to anticipate needs and demonstrate flexibility to work in a high-paced environment.A high level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.Attention to detail.Ability to create and maintain complex spreadsheets, documents, and databases.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; MS Office Suite Certifications preferred.Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to interact with all levels of people and distinct personalities, internal and external to the organization.Proven customer relations skills with a pleasant “can do” attitude when dealing with various stakeholders.Proven resourcefulness, decision-making skills, and strategic planning skills.Proven organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks and manage timelines and processes.Proven ability to work both collaboratively and effectively in a team environment, and independently depending on the tasks at hand.Physical Demands

This position requires compliance with Touro's Vaccine Mandate policy.Maximum Salary: USD $65,000.00/Yr.Minimum Salary: USD $52,000.00/Yr.
