Position SummaryThe Director of Marketing will function as a key leader at BBI identifying, implementing, and leading the development of a best-in-class Marketing department. This position will focus on developing and bolstering the BBI brand and supporting demand generation efforts for our Business Development team. This position will work closely with clients and internal team members of all levels to drive communication and awareness. The Director is responsible for providing thought leadership and representing BBI’s brand, mission, vision, and values.Marketing Department Development and LeadershipDevelop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy in collaboration with Business Development and internal leaders to drive demand generation and build brand awareness for BBI practices and services.Define KPIs and implement measurement, analytics, benchmarking, and reporting methods to effectively gauge success of marketing programs.Identify and build key partnerships with vendors, clients, and other key stakeholders to ensure optimal performance from the Marketing department.Conduct market research to stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.Brand DevelopmentManage brand and social media efforts, developing brand communication plans with next-level storytelling across all platforms and channels.Set business performance goals to measure brand strength, including perception, awareness, associations, and brand-lift to website traffic and lead volume.Act as the voice, tone, and moderator of the brand through community support, content distribution, and digital engagement to build brand presence.Demand GenerationDevelop and regularly maintain standard reporting for all channels (organic, impressions, traffic, conversions, etc.).Build and own a strong framework for analytics and continuous testing and optimization of landing pages and overall website.Work to ensure that SEO and paid media efforts are supporting our demand gen goals.Manage email and other marketing campaigns to support lead generation efforts.Content DevelopmentBe responsible for creation, quality control, and delivery across all content formats including but not limited to: collateral, articles, press releases, presentations, videos, sales tools, blogs, websites, micro sites, education and campaign materials.Create best-in-class content that incites engagement and grows our audience. Act as a creative champion for new, interesting content ideas.This is a hybrid role, based out of our corporate office in Schaumburg, Illinois USA.Requirements

QualificationsMinimum eight (8) years related experience in Marketing with a focus on demand generation, brand awareness, and department building.Minimum five (5) years as a leader of a marketing function within a services or data organization.Successful track record of building high performance marketing functions.Organized self-starter who can prioritize tasks and deliver on multiple projects at once.Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization.High energy, customer-focused, and results-oriented.Acts in a manner consistent with BBI's mission, vision, and values.Innovation and creativity to create brand new strategies that attract clients and succeed over the competition.Demonstrated collaborative skills in developing and executing integrated digital marketing strategies that align to client needs.Demonstrated ability to drive comprehensive data analytics and reporting processes.Exceptional attention to detail, including an understanding of creative development and budget management.Deep understanding of today’s marketing trends in social media, digital marketing, and traditional marketing/advertising.A strong creative mind and the power to connect business strategies to content strategy.Demonstrated experience developing high-quality products with a clear point of view on user experience.Experience across social networks, blogs, and content sharing communities.Demonstrated ability to manage for accountability, provide and receive feedback across differences, and adapt management style to meet team needs.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple lines of business simultaneously in a quick-moving, ever-evolving environment through effective planning and delegation.All candidates must be willing and eligible to work in the Schaumburg, Illinois corporate office on a hybrid schedule without visa sponsorship now or in the future.This is a salaried position with competitive base + bonus structure and full benefits eligibility, including health, life insurance, 401k plan with company match, disability insurances, and PTO.
