This role will require partnering and collaborating closely with multiple teams to plan direction and collect customer-driven feedback.The Sr. UX Designer works in close collaboration with the internal digital and creative teams at Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO). They will create designs that powerfully reflect the passion, integrity and mission of the CHCO brand. This position works collaboratively with other designers, copywriters, developers, management and staff throughout the organization.Applicants are requested to include a digital portfolio of work samples, or a link to their digital portfolio in their resume or application.Qualifications

EDUCATION -

A bachelor's degree in a related field such as human computer interaction, UX design, visual design or graphic design is preferred.EXPERIENCE -

Five years of UX design experience in an agency, studio, or corporate environment. Experience monitoring the quality and workload of design team, and pre-pre/production experience are also required.EQUIVALENCY -

Professional experience, beyond requirements, in a related field may substitute for a Bachelor degree requirement on a year for year basis.Responsibilities

These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.Design seamless and visually compelling user interfaces for our website and mobile apps, ensuring a consistent and on-brand experience across all digital platforms.Create designs that are functional, modular and accessible.Organize design files, maintain design components and design system.Utilize wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to bring concepts to life, focusing on usability and aesthetic appeal.Conduct user research activities, including interviews, surveys, and user observations to gain valuable insights into user behaviors, pain points and motivations.Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design decisions.Translate research and discovery into user flow diagrams, wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes.Collaborate with digital strategists, designers, copywriters, developers, management and stakeholders.Develop and prototype UI animation and microinteractions.Maintain both platform-wide and product-wide design systems.Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in UX design and technology.Must possess superb communication, time-management and process-management skills.Other Information
