What You'll Do:

You will leverage your management and planning expertise to provide enriching experiences for residents and ensure programs are well-organized and successful. You will bring your own creative vision to this role and have the opportunity to expand and enhance creative arts initiatives within the community.

Key Responsibilities include:

Supervising and expanding cultural arts programs such as the Sizzling Summer Art Series, Youth Theatre Program, dance programs, and community music performances.

Managing large-scale events like theatre productions, dance recitals, and holiday programming.

Overseeing resident artists at Villa Barr Art Park and managing art displays.

Collaborating with contractors to develop new programs while also maintaining existing theatre, dance, and art classes.

Maintain a budget and track expenses for all programs and projects.

Participate in department-wide strategic planning and CAPRA accreditation to support our continued excellence.

Who We're Looking For:

Be highly organized and possess excellent time-management skills, thriving in an office-based role but also enjoy hands-on work with the community.

Be passionate about bringing art and culture to the community while managing key programs with contractors and community groups.

Have experience in leadership or supervisory roles, ideally within parks and recreation or arts management.

Salary:

$64,200 - $70,000, depending on your qualifications.
