About the Role:
Thistle Delivery Drivers are the last point of contact in our plant-forward meals' production cycle, delivering our healthy and delicious food right into our customer's hands.
Our drivers are part-time (4-10 hours/week).
The schedule for this position will be: Sundays and Wednesdays, 5:30 pm - 10:30 pm.
The starting hourly pay for this position is
$20.00 . We offer
mileage and cell phone reimbursements (which average at an additional $9/hour), holiday pay premium, plus a 40% employee subscription discount for home delivery of Thistle meals!

What you'll do:Arrive at the designated Thistle facility or rolling truck hub at scheduled shift time; ensure that smartphone is fully charged and have a full tank of gasEnsure that all items are accounted for before delivery departureUse the delivery app to start and complete all assigned delivery tasks while following customer instructionsCollect return bags and ice packs from Thistle customers when dropping off their deliveries, separate bags from ice packs, and return them to your pickup locationEnsure high-level and consistent communication with the dispatch teamWhat You'll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent requiredDelivery experience utilizing app-based software a plus, but not requiredA valid driver's license and clean driving recordProof of insurance that includes liability and bodily injuryHas a reliable, clean, well-maintained vehicle with the capacity to carry many medium-sized bags containing meals, snacks, and beveragesA reliable smartphone and comfortability with using mobile technology for routing and instructionsCommitment to getting the job done as our customers count on our Delivery DriversFamiliarity with the geographical area that is assignedMust be able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidaysExcellent communication and interpersonal skills must be a team player
$20 - $24 an hour
The starting hourly rate for this position is $20.00 out of the pay band range of $20.00 - 24.00 and represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of the posting.
