Advantage Resourcing is seeking a dedicated Claims Resolution Specialist to join a reputable healthcare company specializing in durable medical equipment in Lafayette, LA.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm
Pay: $18 per hour
Job Details:
Address and respond to back collectors' email group.Review and comprehend medical documentation efficiently.Manage back collectors' aging bucket and handle claim denials.Maintain effective communication with co-workers and report concerns to the Collections Manager.Perform various clerical tasks such as answering phones, faxing, and emailing.Requirements:
Familiarity with Explanation of Benefits from insurance companies.Proficiency in medical insurance processes, including Medicare and Medicaid.Working knowledge of CPT and ICD9 codes, HCFA 1500, UB04 claim forms, HIPAA regulations, billing procedures, and medical terminology.Minimum 1 year of experience as a Collections Specialist or 2 years in Billing and Collections.2 years of experience in an insurance office or doctor's office, or 3 years of general office experience.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
