Access to tuition reimbursement, certification programs, and Employee Assistance Program.The Promotions Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Promotions Manager in the development, planning, and operations of promotions and events. Under the direction of the Promotions Manager, this person will supervise the coordination and implementation of on-floor activities including; on-site and off-site special events, giveaways, contests, tournaments, and other programs designed to develop and support new and existing slot and table games players.

SUPERVISORY SCOPE

Promotions and Events Coordinator(s)ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises the execution of promotions and events to the standard of the Snoqualmie Casino brand promise of providing an exceptional entertainment experience to our guests.Works with the Promotions Manager to supervise the promotions and events team including scheduling and coordination of assignments, and coaching and training as needed to ensure competent guest service and technical performance.Create an atmosphere of excitement with both our guests and other team members during promotions and events.Resolves guest conflicts in the absence of the Promotions Manager by troubleshooting issues that may occur during a promotion or event.Ensure that staff is following the policies and procedures of both the department and the casino, including the casino handbooks, departmental policies, and processes.Assist the Promotions Manager by ensuring that deadlines are met for departmental communications and promotional execution.Responsible for management and tracking of promotional inventory.Provides guidance and supervision throughout events to Promotions and Event Coordinators and other event staff as assigned by the Promotions Manager.Ensure that promotions, events, guest services, and entertainment responsibilities of Promotions and Event Coordinators are met.Maintain appropriate staffing levels to ensure the success of events and promotions.Other Duties as assigned.Requirements

Education and Experience

:

High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience.Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a casino gaming or hospitality environment, preferably tribal gaming.Minimum of a two (2) year college degree in Business, Marketing or related field;Any combination of education and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties of the position.Skills and Abilities

:

Proven communication skills, including strong interpersonal communication skills.Professional and engaging public speaking skills, including emceeing and hosting.Knowledge and proficiency in CMP, Microsoft Office Suite applications.Must be able to work a variety of schedules, which include long hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.Ability to perform a variety of duties with extreme care, diligence and attention to detail.Ability to multi-task while maintaining sound judgment and superior decision-making.Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.PREFERRED

Education and Experience

:

Four (4) year college degree in Business, Marketing or related field.Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in Events, Promotions or Marketing.Snoqualmie Casino Career Development Track Series completion.

Snoqualmie Casino exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
