Mixed Use Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

Event Planning/ExecutionDevelop and effectively execute sales promotions, special events and internal and external communication strategies to drive tenant sales. Include retailers, residents, office tenants as appropriate.

Review monthly sales reports to ensure a thorough knowledge of retailer sales; track key retailer and category trends.

Follow corporate policies and procedures for all programs and events.

Manage and schedule building amenities (ie. conference spaces, fitness facility, tenant lounges, etc.) during event planning and implementation.

Curate unique and worthwhile activations in public and private event space in conjunction with onsite retailers.

Create property programming with the goal of creating a property-wide sense of inclusion and community.

Acts as a building ambassador, including maintaining a welcoming presence in public spaces when requested and during events.

Works with Experience Management (XM) to coordinate applicable events and experiences within the property with the office and multi-family tenants.

Promote and engage tenants to participate in building programming.

Advertising/Traditional + DigitalEffectively manage the center's digital media programs (social media, mobile, web) as applicable via in-house or contracted account.

Maintain a thorough knowledge of the trade area including all competitive properties, market and customer demographics and available media.

Analysis of sales and statistical data, financial reporting, public relations, media buying, traditional and digital media management, program results documentation and general marketing administrative duties.

Community/Tenant RelationsEstablish an ongoing partnership with tenants to maximize individual store sales through retailer communications/sales promotions/visual merchandising, especially with tenants identified as "key retailers."

Serve as the marketing liaison between the local community business leaders, the property and the client.

PublicityDevelop an ongoing public relations action plan as needed; send out press releases; track publicity.

Marketing for LeasingPartner with the Leasing team to support the leasing efforts by compiling relevant information and creating professional, compelling sales materials.

Partner with Specialty Leasing to develop and implement local and corporate ancillary income opportunities to generate additional revenue for the property through advertising and sponsorships.

Utilizes common areas for pop-ups and activations for tenant engagement activations.

General MarketingDevelopment of the annual budget and marketing plan for the property based upon the center's strategic goals with ongoing monitoring monthly re-forecasting and adjustments as needed to meet year-end projections.Effectively utilize market and consumer research to develop the center's marketing plan and support the leasing efforts.

Complete special assignments as directed by the General Manager and/or Regional Marketing Manager.

Negotiate and execute contracts with vendors for best price, product, and service.

Preferred QualificationsMinimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on strategic planning and execution.

Proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a marketing team.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to think strategically and analytically, with a deep understanding of market trends and customer insights.

Proficient in digital marketing strategies and tactics, including social media, content marketing, and SEO.

Experience in brand management and building brand awareness.

Experience within the hospitality industry preferred but not required.

Proficient in market research and analysis to identify target markets and customer segments.

Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM systems.

Strong project management skills to oversee multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously.

Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and work with cross-functional teams.

Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable goals and driving ROI from marketing efforts.
