Sales Solution Architect

with a specialization in DevSecOps to join our growing North America sales team. As a Solution Architect, you will be the technical expert bridging the gap between our cutting-edge DevSecOps solutions and our customers’ unique needs. Your primary focus will be to drive sales by providing technical guidance, conducting product demonstrations, and collaborating with both the sales and solution engineering teams to ensure successful pre-sales implementation of our DevSecOps solutions.This position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check. Qualified candidates with criminal history will be considered and are not automatically disqualified, consistent with applicable federal law, state law, and local ordinances.Key Areas of ResponsibilitySolution Design and Development:

Partner with Sales Engineers and customers to understand their DevSecOps needs and challenges.Architect secure and scalable DevSecOps solutions that align with customer objectives.Create architecture diagrams, technical proposals, and proof of value to demonstrate our solutions.

Technical Expertise:

Serve as the primary technical advisor on DevSecOps methodologies, tools, and technologies.Conduct product and service demonstrations and workshops to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our solutions.Provide guidance on implementing secure CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.

Presales Support:

Collaborate with sales teams to qualify opportunities and define technical strategies to meet customer requirements.Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that articulate the features, benefits, and ROI of our DevSecOps offerings.Address technical inquiries and concerns throughout the sales cycle, ensuring customer satisfaction and confidence.

Team Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with Sales Engineers, Product Management, and Engineering teams to align customer needs with product capabilities.Advocate for customer requirements and provide feedback to our product teams to enhance our DevSecOps solutions.Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear and actionable insights.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, establishing credibility and trust through technical expertise.Support the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation.Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions.

Minimum Qualifications5+ years of experience in Presales Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar role focusing on DevSecOps solutions with excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices built from experience either architecting or operating security solutions for production modern applications.Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and processes like Gitlab, Github, Jenkins, etc.Knowledge of security best practices in the software development lifecycle.Experience with API Security, Container Security and Public Cloud Security (especially AWS).Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Enthusiasm to help enable your peers in training sessions.Willingness to travel up to 50% in the US and Canada.What We Offer:Thales provides an extensive benefits program for all full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week and their eligible dependents, including the following:Elective Health, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Voluntary Life and AD&D, Whole Group Life w/LTC, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Accident Insurance, Legal Plan, Identity Theft, and Pet Insurance.Retirement Savings Plan after 30 days of employment with a company contribution and a match, and with no vesting period.Company paid holidays and Paid Time Off.Company provided Life Insurance, AD&D, Disability, Employee Assistance Plan, and Well-being Program.Thales champions inclusion and we believe diversity strengthens the fabric of our culture.
