Location:FL-Orlando-SouthJob Title: Sales Manager - Orlando TV-WFTVPosition OverviewCMG is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager who is ready to take a successful group of television stations to an elevated level of performance and cultural advancement. We are looking for a sales leader who creates a positive culture for success through leadership, clear direction, teaching, motivating, and evaluating the sales efforts of a Local team.The candidate will lead a team in exceeding budgets on multiple platforms and coach and mentor a group of talented sellers. A successful candidate will be able to illustrate that they are highly organized, able to coach a winning team and to be a cornerstone member of a cohesive Sales Management Team. The ability to develop a strategic plan and execute is a must.Client engagement is a high value. Candidates should have the ability to work in a fast- paced environment and handle multiple challenges simultaneously. Candidate must also be able to take initiative and ownership of a Sales Team's business results.As a Sales Manager there is an expectation that you will be meeting with clients and attending sales calls both in face-to-face meetings and virtually.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWith guidance from the Director of Sales and partnership with our other Sales Managers you will help set the positive energy for the local sales department by providing exemplary professionalism expressed through your leadership in alignment with the department's sales goals and objectives.Clearly define Account Executive performance expectations and measurement processes to assure Account Executiveefforts and attention will lead to achievement of the budgeted business results.Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings and quarterly strategy meetings with each Account Executive.Develop relationships with our clients and key prospects via frequent visibility.This includes being active in the sales process, going on sales calls and client engagement.Assist in accurately forecasting revenue through engagement with AEs in the weekly Pending process.Work in a partnership level of engagement with our sales team to mange optimal inventory and pricing strategies that deliver revenue goals for our three television stations.Work with our Digital Media Director to craft go-to-market strategies that achieve and exceed Digital revenue goals.Contribute to the achievement of Revenue, Market Share, New Business, Sports goals etc.by working with and through your Team.Work in partnership with our Research Director and Sales Research Analyst in creation of research pieces to assist in our sales efforts.Communicate professionally with other Managers and Supervisors.

Professional demeanor and role model conduct for those whom you manage.Defining your management style as a resource to those whom you manage.A creative mind with proven ability to generate revenue for the company and grow our advertisers' business.The ability to analyze issues thoroughly and make sound business decisions and solve problems effectively.Ability to communicate effectively with clients and help create effective sales presentations.Understands how to communicate effectively and build strong internal and external relationships.Has a history of achieving budgets on multiple platforms.Is a skilled negotiator and problem solver.Has a passion to build and maintain strong client relationships.Has the creativity to develop targeted, customer focused marketing solutions using multiple media products including television, digital, and multi-cast.Has a track record of success in new business development and performance.Understands pricing and inventory management.Experienced in coaching the submission and preparation of client avails.Takes pride in being extremely well-organized and always prepared.Have strong verbal and written communication skills.Is highly computer literate in all Microsoft Office products and ideally has experience with Wide Orbit and Matrix.Ideal candidate has a minimum of 2-3 years broadcast sales management experience.Valid driver's license with cleandriving record required
