Fund Accountant

Searching for a Senior Fund Accountant to help with an upcoming project. Full range of funds to work with collaborative environment. Qualified candidate will have complex fund accounting, investment accounting and enjoy an autonomous work environment.

Company Offers: Autonomous schedule, ability to work remote.

Responsibilities:

Complex Fund accounting supporting assistant controller - managing books, records, reconciliations

Take capital calls and investor requests

Assist with quarter end, pricing, allocations and distributions

Capital statements

Review IRR calculations

Investment accounting - financial reporting and investment structures

Work on breadth of complex funds, investment accounts including PE style funds, close ended funds and credit/debt funds

Full cycle for each fund including capital activity for close, performance reporting, calculations/pricing

Culture of developmental training, taking ownership, transparency, reliability and autonomy

Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

1-3 years of complex fund accounting experience, investment accounting preferred

Public/private/admin experience with closed end funds, credit/debt funds etc.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, MBA is a plus

CPA preferred

Display ability to manage multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines

Analytical and problem solving skills

Team player who works well in a changing environment
