Position Overview:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for producing high-quality digital and print materials that align with the Bellevue Club's brand. This role includes creating visually compelling content across web, email, social media, and print platforms, as well as capturing and managing photography assets. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-directed, and skilled at working both independently and collaboratively, while staying current with design trends and tools.

Essential Functions:Design & Production: Create visually compelling materials for web, print, email, and social media, maintaining brand consistency across all platforms.Project Management: Handle design projects from concept to completion, with or without direct guidance, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.Photography: Capture high-quality images as needed for marketing materials and manage the club's photo assets.Photo Editing: Edit and enhance images using software such as Camera Raw or Lightroom, maintaining an efficient workflow for processing and delivering photos.Asset Management: Organize and maintain the photo library, ensuring easy access and proper labeling for the team.Digital Expertise: Create digital marketing assets for websites, email campaigns, and social media platforms, focusing on user engagement and experience.Collaboration: Work closely with the Communications Director and other departments to deliver cohesive and visually appealing content that supports the club's goals.Continuous Improvement: Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices, integrating new techniques to improve workflow and design output.Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but may lead jr designers or contractors as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field is required.A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a focus on digital and print media, is essential.Online portfolio showcasing examples of all relevant work samples, including digital, print, and photography projects. Portfolio should demonstrate excellent design and typography skills, with a focus on high-quality, professional-level execution.Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Experience capturing high-quality photography with DSLR cameras, including setting up proper lighting and proficient use of photo editing software such as Camera Raw or Lightroom.Experience in effective digital asset management is required.Experience with content management systems, web and email design, including HTML/CSS knowledge. WordPress experience a plus.Familiarity with social media content creation and managementCore Competencies:
