We are looking for a dynamic HR professional to join our Amazon Web Services (AWS) Human Resources team supporting the Identity, Control Access and Infrastructure as Code within the larger Utility Computing organization.This role supports 5-6 Directors in the Identity organization. The AWS Identity team provides the technologies and services for customers to manage who has access to what, regardless of the scale at which our customers operate.This role drives strategy and execution for the entire Identity organization focusing in areas including Organizational Health and effectiveness, Workforce planning, Location strategy and more. They will also lead the development and execution of the HR Team operational mechanisms and partner closely with the Platform team to develop and execute on strategies.To be successful in this role, you must understand business priorities and goals and translate them into the highest impact work. You’ll help business leaders look around corners with recommendations based on data that improve organizational effectiveness and builder experience. Ability to facilitate change management for large organizations within a rapid and complex changing work environment, create efficiencies, and make sound judgement in ambiguous situations are critical to the success of this role. Success will also require an aptitude to dive deep and analyze data to develop meaningful insights and conclusions, and to be able to present clearly and with purpose to the relevant audience.

About the teamThe AWS Identity organization consists of multiple engineering teams spread across multiple geographic locations. It provides the technologies and services for customers to manage who has access to what, regardless of the scale at which our customers operate. It is our mission to ensure customers have rich, fine-grained controls that enable them to manage access securely and simply at any scale. As an HR Business Partner our team is hands-on, and we have our focus on improving organizational effectiveness & design, leading change management, providing leadership coaching and driving HR functional excellence.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience· 7+ years of experience in an HR generalist leadership role· Strong judgment and experience coaching leaders.· Broad experience and specific knowledge of human resource theory, including employee relations, learning, and performance management.· Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation, data visualization, and facilitation skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in Human Resources or MBA5+ years’ experience working as a business partner, and driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for global organization teams· Work experience in the tech industry· Experience in highly matrixed organization· Experience leading global HR programs and related change management· Ability to diagnose issues and drive appropriate strategic solutions with self-initiative· Ability to refine strategy and gain buy-in by influencing and partnering with different levels of the organization
