About the PositionIn the role of Sales Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and cultivate a team of Sales Development Representatives to enhance top-of-funnel pipeline growth and sales revenue. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful history in sales and sales management, especially in sales strategy and pipeline development. Strong collaboration abilities are essential as you will collaborate closely with other departments to guarantee that your team is equipped with all the required information for success. Your strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, driving revenue growth and meeting company targets.What to Expect in This PositionLead the hiring, training, and management of a team to deliver on monthly and quarterly pipeline growth targets.Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company objectives to drive revenue growth.Collaborate closely with key cross functional partners (marketing, sales, sales ops & enablement, recruiting & HR) to achieve company targets.Use data-driven insights to monitor performance, identify improvement areas, and optimize results.Provide mentorship and coaching to empower team members to achieve their goals.Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions for Sales Development Representatives.Continuously refine and enhance the sales development process for improved efficiency and outcomes.Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion.What Sets You ApartYou have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent w/ 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales and sales management.Top-of-funnel sales development experience within the SAAS/Technology/Intelligence environment.SAAS is desirable for this position.Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate and empower team members to achieve objectives.Strategic mindset in developing and executing sales strategies that align with company goals.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration across teams.Analytical approach to utilize data and metrics for performance enhancement and identifying areas for growth.Dedication to mentorship and coaching to support team members in reaching their full potential.Commitment to continuous learning, embracing innovation, problem-solving, and staying informed on industry trends.Adaptability and collaboration in a fast-paced environment to optimize business outcomes.Industry experience in public policy and issues management is a plus.Excited about this role, but don't meet 100% of the expected qualifications listed above?
