Freshworks is seeking a Sr. Manager - Workplace Resources to lead our four (4) North America offices, our return to office (RTO) efforts, and manage a team of amazing Workplace management specialists. Reporting to the VP of Global Workplace, you will play a critical role in defining and supporting an outstanding employee experience as well as our overall office programs, strategies, and budgets. You’ll engage with our cross-functional partners including IT, Legal, HR, Finance, and others to support leasing, strategy, construction, design, vendor management, and beyond.This role requires a seasoned leader with experience in workplace operations and a passion for developing a team. You will be successful in this role if you put the customers first, are dedicated to ongoing innovation, energized by a growth mindset, and like having fun at work.Lead and support the Workplace team and facility activities for our four offices in North America (in San Mateo, Denver, Bellevue, and New York)Serve as the main point person for workplace operations questions as well as initiatives across the org such as RTO, ESG, software needs, seating challenges, etc.Ensure smooth programs and day-to-day operations of our offices including catering, internal events, guest processes, security, parking, day porters, etc.Create strategies and processes that amplify employee experience and engagement in the officeWork with Finance to develop a detailed annual budget that supports the company initiatives and manage to that budgetSource, implement and manage vendor contracts; liaise with property management, security and facilities vendorsCoordinate and facilitate company internal engagement eventsIdentify & implement opportunities to build a more cohesive, happy, and productive in-office experienceSupport tenant improvement design & construction projects (both small and large)Promote workplace safety, environmental practices, waste reduction opportunities, sustainability, and energy conservation initiativesEnsure measures are in place for after-hours facilities related emergenciesCollaborate with the company’s Strategic Sourcing team on opportunities to define vendor scope and manage supplier performancePartner with IT, Legal, HR, Finance, and others on workplace related initiativesLead initiatives that align with corporate objectives, budget requirements, and deliver measurable outcomesSupport lease negotiations for new office space to support our expansion and operational successGather and analyze employee feedback and insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvementCreate a first-class, “wow” experience for everyone who steps foot in our officesPlease note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/week (Tue - Thur) from our San Mateo (HQ).Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required7+ years of experience in Workplace or Facilities related roles. Previous management experience required.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills across all levels of audiences. This role is based in the San Francisco Metro Area, and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
