JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics seeks to hire arecent graduate to work part-time as aMultimedia Specialist.The selected candidate will:
Contribute creative vision for a fulldome planetarium show on galaxy formation and evolution in the early Universe
Help contribute to the script, create multimedia video and animations, and imagery appropriate for presentation to all ages in the Penn State planetarium as well as for distribution to planetaria around the country
Collaborate closely with a small team of faculty and multimedia designers.
Expected hours will be approximately 15 hours/week.The selected candidate will report to Dr. Christopher Palma.Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. The ASR is available for review here.
