Overview:GovCIO is currently hiring a Network Solutions Architect to provide design, implementation, and operational support for network solutions in Defense Infrastructure supporting foreign military sales (FMS) programs. This position will involve working on multi-vendor military networks and systems, ensuring that networking architectures are aligned with DoD regulations and FMS-specific requirements. The position is a hybrid-remote in Tampa, FL.Responsibilities:

As a Network Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in the success of the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program by developing and implementing advanced network solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure Defense Infrastructure capabilities' reliability, security, and performance. You will oversee the design, deployment, and optimization of network architectures supporting mission partners' networks and systems within FMS programs, ensuring compliance with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) regulations and FMS-specific requirements. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to develop comprehensive network solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide leadership with actionable strategies. Your work will ensure the successful implementation and operational resilience of Defense Infrastructure for U.S. and allied nations in accordance with FMS processes and objectives.Design and implement network architectures

that support Defense Infrastructure for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. Ensure that all network solutions align with DoD regulations and meet the specific requirements of both U.S. and partner nations involved in FMS contracts.Provide hands-on support

in configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing network systems to ensure secure and reliable communication across military networks. Work with multi-vendor environments to integrate various systems and platforms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams , including security teams, systems engineers, and FMS stakeholders, to deploy network infrastructures, ensuring seamless implementation and operational efficiency for mission-critical defense projects.Maintain and upgrade network systems

by integrating emerging technologies and best practices to enhance the security, scalability, and performance of Defense Infrastructure supporting FMS programs. Focus on ensuring network resilience against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.Ensure compliance with DoD and FMS guidelines

by implementing network solutions that adhere to all relevant security, performance, and operational standards. Design networks with an emphasis on data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.Develop and maintain network documentation , including architecture diagrams, configurations, and procedures, ensuring that all implementations and upgrades are thoroughly documented and in compliance with FMS requirements.Conduct network assessments and performance evaluations

to identify areas for improvement and optimization within the existing infrastructure and provide recommendations for enhancing network security and performance.Support disaster recovery planning and failover systems , ensuring network redundancy and continuity of operations for critical defense infrastructure in FMS programs.Provide technical expertise to FMS leadership

and military stakeholders, offering recommendations on network solutions and strategies that align with the defense mission objectives of the U.S. and allied nations.Monitor and maintain network performance

through proactive analysis and the implementation of best practices, ensuring continuous operational availability for FMS-related military systems.Qualifications:

High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and ExperienceClearance: SECRETMust have a valid US Passport and be prepared for international travel up to 40% at customer locations in Eastern Europe and South America.Two or more years of experience

with the processes, regulations, and requirements associated with Defense Infrastructure Capabilities supporting Foreign Military Sales implementation programs.Proficiency with network drawing and productivity tools (Visio, Lucid, AutoCAD, etc.) is necessary.Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, CASP, etc.).Experience with Cyber Network Defense (CND), Cybersecurity Operations, or CCNA Level Certification.Knowledge of multi-area OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and MPLS environmentsExperience setting up IPSec VPNs, GRE Tunnels, and DMVPN architecture.Experience with L2 and L3 protocols over Campus/WAN networks.Experience with multitiered hub-and-spoke network design.Preferred Skills and ExperienceRelevant MS Degree and +3 Years; BS Degree and +5 years of relevant experience or HS Diploma +9 years of relevant experience. Specific expertise, education, and training may be considered in place of a degree.A senior military background within Signal, Communications, or Information Technology MOSs will be highly desired.CCNA Security or CCNA CyberOps - Desired Qualifications in place of CCNA: JNCDA/JNCIA, PCCET/PCNSE - CCNP Security or CCNP Service Provider (SPCORE)Company Overview:

The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an at-will position and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.Posted Salary Range: USD $140,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
