to assist in the identification and assessment of land purchase opportunities throughout the area. This position will be based in our Corporate office located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.What is the opportunity?The Sr. Land Acquisition Analyst position is responsible for identifying, assessing, and closing new land opportunities.What are the primary responsibilities?Pursue and coordinate all land acquisition opportunities as directedIdentify, assess, and submit for approval new land opportunitiesWork independently to negotiate the acquisition of properties with landowners, attorneys, or brokers. Do not make commitments without prior approvalPerform land use, financial, and project profitability analysis for management to reviewObtain and examine public land records as part of performing due diligenceWork with engineers and operations managers on concept land planning, environmental, and utility requirementsWork with legal on purchase agreementsTrain and mentor new Land Acquisition ManagersAll other duties as assignedThis is an excellent opportunity to join one of the nation's most respected Fortune 500 companies!QualificationsDoes this describe you?Capable of forward thinking to the benefit of the organization. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Urban Planning5 - 7 years of experience in residential land acquisitionSolid background in land planning, zoning, law, and/or real estate

Preferred:

Leadership roles, managing large scale projects in residential development
