Job Summary:

Are you an exceptional storyteller that gets results? We seek an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of Seattle Tree Care’s marketing strategy. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building upon our brand’s success in the arboriculture industry, which uniquely combines sustainability, regional history, and visually stimulating content. Focussed on driving growth, you will manage the marketing budget, oversee a marketing team, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the success of all marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self-driven strategic thinker, passionate storyteller, and strong leader who excels in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership : Develop and own Seattle Tree Care’s comprehensive marketing strategy, focusing on optimal lead generation to support revenue targets and future growth.

Team Leadership and Development : As the company grows, you will be responsible for hiring, leading, mentoring, and developing a marketing team, while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Initially, this role is an individual contributor position, but leadership skills are critical for cross-team collaboration and future team expansion.

Budget Management : Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.

Content Creation and Management : Develop, manage, and optimize content and social media marketing programs, including blogs, newsletters, and campaigns. Create and edit marketing collateral, ensuring consistency in brand voice across all channels.

Digital Presence Optimization : Optimize online presence to achieve top search results in target demographic areas and manage relationships with digital marketing partners.

Brand Management : Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials. Develop and enforce brand guidelines.

Market Analysis : Analyze market data, such as campaign results, conversion rates, and traffic, to inform future marketing strategies. Conduct market research to strengthen brand positioning and identity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with sales and field crews to align marketing strategies with company goals.

Crisis Management : Develop and implement communication strategies for handling public relations crises.

Event Planning and Management : Plan and execute company events, trade shows, and other promotional activities.

Client Engagement : Audit all client communications and messaging for accuracy, consistency, and excellent customer service. Engage with client reviews and feedback to enhance the customer experience.

Reporting and Analytics : Create and update a marketing dashboard to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics. Develop comprehensive reports for critical analysis and future strategy development.

Other Duties : Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the overall marketing function.

Requirements and Skills:

Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales/marketing, business administration, or customer service. Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.

Technical Skills : Advanced computer skills, including experience with CRM software, Google Suite, and design programs. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development tools is a plus but not required.

Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a skilled writing voice and a passion for storytelling. Public speaking and presentation skills are an advantage.

Organizational Skills : Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with experience in coaching and mentoring.

Financial Acumen : Strong understanding of financial principles as they relate to marketing budget management.

Strategic Thinking : Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans that align with business objectives.

Interpersonal Skills : Strong interpersonal skills for building trust and relationships with peers, crews, and clients.

Physical Requirements : Ability to perform light physical work, move safely over uneven terrain, sit or stand for extended periods, and efficiently use a keyboard.
