Aitkin Public SchoolsAitkin High School is in need of a One Act Play Director for the 2024-25 school year. The position will oversee the One Act Play activities district wide and be in charge of the development of the overall program. This position will serve the students in our Middle/Senior High School (Grades 7-12).The Director position will start in Flex hours for rehearsals at Aitkin Auditorium for 4-5 months and running late October to mid February.The Aitkin Independent School District # 1 believes that a dynamic program of student activities is vital to the educational development of all students, providing experiences that promote the physical, mental, social, and emotional development of all participants.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Head One Act Play Director is responsible for all aspects of the One Act Program and will oversee performance, rehearsals, practices, and set designs.Promote and develop a program that builds relationships with all HS programs and encourages involvement with other programs.Fulfill responsibilities of a Head Director in accordance with MSHSL training and guidelines and in accordance with program values as directed by the Activities Director.Previous experience preferred.Questions about this position should be directed to Jason Cline, Activities Director at AHS, at jcline@isd1.org or by phone at 218-927-7125.
