It fuels our passion and drives every decision we make.Job Posting TitleSenior Director Operations - Clinical Review - RemoteJob DescriptionThe Senior Director Operations is responsible for strategic leadership and tactical development of a department within our Clinical Review Operations functional area. The Sr Director Operations drives strategic decisions for Prime’s operations as well as tactical improvements to operational quality and efficiency. This role partners with other leaders within the business to ensure operational compliance and establish key performance metrics around quality, cost, and efficiency.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership to the teams responsible for development and execution of core operations, ensuring the programs are effective and efficient.Develop and implement vision for department talent planning, talent development, and workforce management strategies.Partner with the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) leadership to ensure departmental programs are feasible, operationally capable, and align with Prime’s business objectives.Provide direction for resolution of escalated client and/or member issues and ensure all clients’ performance guarantees are met for quality and service.Partner with senior leadership to set quality metrics and ensure the organization is meeting expectations, and analyze and leverage data to effectively impact change in the organization.Other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required.10 years of work experience in operations management, pharmacy benefit management, healthcare, insurance, or highly regulated market.7 years of leadership/people management experience.Previous experience leading a large organization (30+ employees).Previous experience with department budget development, monitoring, and management of financial performance.Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship.Additional QualificationsStrong interpersonal communication skills, including team leadership, conflict resolution and listening.Strong leadership ability.Driven, focused individual with strong influencing skills.Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously without compromising quality.Action-oriented with the ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience interfacing with senior leadership or executive leadership.Previous experience with continuous quality improvement, business analysis, or operations.Masters in Business Administration.Minimum Physical Job RequirementsMust be able to work outside of Prime core business hours (9 AM – 4 PM), to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, as needed.Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear.Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch.Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Reporting StructureReports to AVP or VP in Operations.Potential pay for this position ranges from $144,000.00 - $230,200.00 based on experience and skills.
