SAP Basis Consultant
Parsippany, NJ (2-3 Days Onsite)
Long Term Responsibilities:
Maintain collaborative working relationship with IS services (database, data center, servers, desktop, networking, security).Support roll-out and implementation of new business applications and functionality.Perform installations, upgrades, migration, refreshes, and system copy, and provide ongoing maintenance on various SAP systems.Identify and resolve business issues.Serve as technical support for medium to complex problem resolution.Automate administrative and operational functions.Measurement of DBMS performance and tuning.Work on future Mergers & Acquisitions projects.Ability to adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while working against deadlines.
Qualifications:SAP Support Package Stack application (ABAP & Java).Experience in performing a role as a Technical Consultant in at least two end-to-end projects (Upgrades, Implementations).Senior Consultant will require functional/technical proficiency with at least 6 years of SAP Basis consulting experience, with a minimum of 4 Full Cycle Project Implementation experiences in a consulting environment.Implementation experience of SAP applications (ECC, BW, CRM, SRM, EP, PO, BOBJ, etc.).Experience in SAP landscape strategy, providing SAP system maintenance, client strategy, SAP code migrations on a scheduled basis, transport management systems, change management, workflow.Analysis and technical recommendation and application of OSS Notes.Day-to-day maintenance of SAP batch job schedules, monitoring, and interfaces jobs.
