Job Description

We are currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst to evaluate client needs and business processes, translating and documenting requirements effectively. You will communicate solutions and requirements clearly to both customers and technical teams, facilitate decision-making processes, and present solutions to clients. Additionally, you will support existing Microsoft web-based systems, triage tickets, and collaborate with developers on solutions. This position is full-time, remote, and a long-term contract.

What You’ll Do

Evaluate client needs and business processes effectively. Translate, elicit, communicate, and document requirements

Work effectively in an Agile environment and participate in all Scrum ceremonies

Write user stories, requirements, and create workflow diagrams (e.g., process flow diagrams, integration diagrams, customer experience maps)

Communicate solutions and requirements clearly to both customer and technical teams

Facilitate decision-making processes and gain consensus for sign-off

Present and demo solutions to clients with excellent presentation skills

Support existing Microsoft web-based systems and learn new software quickly

Triage tickets escalated by the Level 1 team and coordinate with developers on solutions

Work directly with customers to elicit requirements, configure, and test solutions to ensure quality

Exhibit superb communication, organization, and time management skills

Commit to the success of the team's mission in supporting the customer

What You’ll Need

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience with enterprise software implementation projects; Microsoft web applications experience preferred

Skilled in analyzing and documenting business processes, user stories, and requirements

Demonstrated ability to clarify business processes that may not be well understood by customers

Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications for implementation or development

Strong communication skills with excellent verbal and written English

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work calmly under pressure

Application support skills

Analysis and diagnosis of application errors

Assessing and troubleshooting problems

Solving existing issues

Working with cross-functional teams.

Offering feedback to developers

Attention to detail

Desired

Knowledge/expertise in SoapUI or similar tools

Experience in Agile, Web/Ecommerce Systems; Sitecore experience is a major plus

Experience with SQL Server Management Studio, Active Directory, SharePoint, Google Analytics tools, or Google Tag Manager.

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
