The team provides high quality support in a broad range of areas to enable our regions to be set up for success.The Role

The Head of Brand and Communication, Central Services, will collaborate with regional counterparts to develop the brand and communication strategy for Norton Rose Fulbright. This includes managing the global marketing strategy and operations, developing a global content strategy (internal and external) with the regional CMOs, managing global PR and coordinating crisis communications that have a global impact, building relationships with global media outlets and supporting the marketing technology roadmap. The role reports to the Sr. Director, Central Services, and will work closely with the Director, Digital Marketing Operations, Central Services. The role will also have direct liaison with the Global Management Committee, the regional CMOs and communications leads, lawyers and business services teams.Key Responsibilities

Operational Management: Responsible for the operational management of our central communication, brand, and social media team, ensuring our brand's consistent and effective presence and the delivery of high-quality work and support to the regions.Content Strategy Development: Develop and coordinate a content strategy in collaboration with the regional CMOs for our global platforms.Social Media Calendar Coordination: Coordinate the editorial social media calendar, identifying opportunities, and ensuring a cohesive strategy across all regions.Visual Identity Management: Coordinate the development and management of the firm's visual identity and tone of voice, ensuring consistency across all communication channels and regions.Public Relations Management: Develop and coordinate a comprehensive crisis management plan; lead the communication efforts during cross-regional crises. Ensure swift global coordination on high-profile/reputational issues, managing responses and mitigating potential risks. Coordinate engagements with major media outlets, considering their far-reaching and high-profile nature.Global Event Management: Oversee the planning, organization, and execution of global events.Promote cross-regional content and initiatives: Oversee the effective planning, production and execution of cross-regional external content and marketing campaigns in a way that maximizes engagement with clients and demonstrates cross-border expertise.Intranet and internal communications: Develop and coordinate a content strategy with regions for the intranet and work with Global IT on intranet architecture and delivery.Oversee internal communications from Global Executive team.Management of services delivered by central service provider(s).Skills and Experience Required

Extensive experience in a senior communications role, ideally within a global firm.Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing communication strategies.Proficient in digital communication and social media strategy.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Superior written and verbal communication skills.Proven experience in crisis management and public relations.Familiarity with managing global events and campaigns.Ability to travel as needed to support global operations.Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and complies with all applicable federal laws and their implementing regulations that require the collection and recording of certain data and information.
