What You Will Do:As a Consultant/Senior Consultant you will leverage your technical and strategic skills in many areas of health care, focusing on a specific area of specialization within the integrated healthcare system (service lines, facility strategy, enterprise strategy, financial strategy, M&A strategy, digital strategy, growth strategy). Specific responsibilities could include the following:
Lead/participate in transformation project workstreams focused on the modernization of public sector and/or commercial/private healthcare operations by facilitating multiple process improvement strategies to increase revenue, develop standard practices for care delivery, improve the patient experience and the efficiency of healthcare systems.
Work in a fast-paced high performing environment while creating an outstanding culture that is accepting and leverages individual strengths.
Develop strong client relationships and advise executive leaders.
What You Will Need:Senior Consultant level
Bachelor's degree in nursing, informatics, or a related field is required; Master's degree in business, management, health economics, policy and administration or other quantitative degree is a plus.
5+ years of previous work experience in a healthcare consulting firm or a combination of healthcare industry and consulting experience as well as experience with corporate or public sector strategy development and implementation or operational transformations.
Project and/or program management experience 3+ yrs.
2+ years of experience with supporting large client organizations in either the federal or private sector.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access as well as the ability to conduct research.
The ability to travel as necessary: up to 50%.
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance (i.e. must be a US citizen).
Consultant level
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience.
2+ years of experience with corporate/public sector strategy development or implementation or operational transformations.
1+ years of experience with supporting client organizations in either the federal or private sector.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access as well as the ability to conduct research.
The ability to travel as necessary: up to 50% in rare cases.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance (i.e. must be a US citizen).
What Would Be Nice To Have:Senior Consultant level
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
PMP Certification.
Masters Degree (MBA, MPH, MPP, MHA, MPA, MSOD).
Experience in healthcare and/or public health.
Experience with claims payment processes, systems, and analytics.
2+ years of experience with conducting organizational assessments, developing strategic outlooks/visions/plans, developing business cases, and making recommendations for improvement.
Experience with delivering high-quality client service in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.
Ability to use data to inform strategy, problem-solve and make decisions.
Innovative mindset and intellectual curiosity regarding industry and academic trends.
Demonstrates proven success in a management consulting role supporting strategy and operations projects.
