Title: Graphic Designer

Duration: 06 Months

Location: Irvine, CA 92612 (Hybrid)

This position follows a hybrid schedule with a maximum of 3 days onsite per week.

Purpose:

The Graphic Designer (Artwork Developer) is responsible for creating and editing product packaging artworks to support new product introductions and product labeling revisions for both client and third-party customer products. The role involves receiving change details through internal Global Label Management organization representatives and affiliates worldwide. Artwork development is conducted according to policies, procedures, and right-first-time principles, ensuring timely completion to meet established timelines.

Responsibilities:Create and edit artwork according to source information, packaging specifications, equipment specifications, print supplier requirements, and right-first-time principles while adhering to project schedules.Manage multiple projects simultaneously by evaluating project status and collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines.Proofread artwork for adherence to requested changes, technical requirements, and printing considerations.Successfully resolve routine technical challenges related to artwork development.Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all deliverables.Complete work according to policies, best practices, and procedures to assure deliverables meet requirements.Ensure compliance with internal procedures and training SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Art Design, Print Media, or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of proven experience in artwork production for various types of packaging, preferably in the pharmaceutical, device, or aesthetic industry.Demonstrated skill working on a Mac and using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, and barcode software, with an emphasis on Adobe InDesign.Demonstrated knowledge of pre-press file preparation.Knowledge of printing and packaging industry practices.
