Construction Estimator

Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient candidate responsible for performing accurate, thorough, and timely quantity takeoffs for heavy civil construction projects. The role involves multitasking across multiple projects, using company software to ensure consistency and precision in all estimates.Key Responsibilities:Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for heavy civil construction projects using company-approved software.Work on multiple projects simultaneously, effectively managing time and tasks.Collaborate with the lead estimator to clarify project plans and specifications.Analyze project documents and specifications to ensure accurate estimates.Assist the estimating team in soliciting and reviewing subcontractor and vendor pricing when necessary.Gain proficiency in all relevant software programs, including AGTEK, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), and Bluebeam.Present findings, adjustments, and other critical information to clients and internal teams.Qualifications:Associate degree or higher in Construction Management, or a related field, and/or equivalent professional experience.A minimum of 2 years of experience in quantity takeoffs for heavy civil construction projects.Proficiency in AGTEK, OST, and Bluebeam software is required.Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
