$103,800.00 - $129,740.00This Senior Grant Acquisition Specialist identifies, pursues, and acquires funding from US Government agencies such as USAID and international or multilateral donor agencies. The specialist will perform comprehensive grant writing, proposal development, market analysis, and manage relationships with donor agency representatives and stakeholders. This role involves working closely with program teams to align funding opportunities with organizational goals and program needs. At this career level, the specialist leads or conducts major proposals and initiatives for multiple countries and often coaches and oversees the work of other specialists and related staff.What will you do?Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, acting as a consistent witness and upholding Compassion’s ministry in prayer.

Advocate for raising awareness of children's needs, committing to child protection considerations in all decision-making.

Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.

Administer and improve the system for tracking government and multilateral grant opportunities from identification to submission.

Conduct market and competitor landscape analyses, reporting on funding opportunities and comparing them with organizational objectives.

Investigate sub-grant partnering opportunities under existing awards.

Oversee and drive development and submission of grant proposals, ensuring coordination with relevant teams.

Ensure timely submission of high-quality grant proposals to USAID and other donors.

Assure quality editing, proofreading, and adherence to compliance standards of all grant proposals.

Provide expertise in the development of program descriptions and budget templates for proposals.

Cooperate with the Global Philanthropic Engagement (GPE) team regarding relevant partnerships for grants.

What do you bring?Ten years of relevant experience assessing, prioritizing, and applying for government grants, primarily USAID.

Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Certification from a nationally or internationally recognized organization in a related field.
