UW Tacoma’s commitment to access and diversity is central to an environment where students, staff, faculty and South Sound residents find abundant opportunities for intellectual, personal and professional growth.

The Office of Global Affairs has an outstanding opportunity for an Assistant Director of Study Abroad to join their team.

The Assistant Director of Study Abroad provides leadership for UW Tacoma’s study abroad programs and other global learning opportunities. The Assistant Director reports directly to the Executive Director of the Office of Global Affairs. This position is responsible for revenue and expenditures for study abroad related budgets in the amount of approximately $250,000, including state-funded and fee-based budgets, and tuition waivers. The position also provides oversight for fiscal operations of all study abroad programs and ensures activities are carried out in a fiscally responsible manner.
