VP of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting , you will lead a highly skilled team to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting. Must be authorized to work in the US without needing sponsorship.Responsibilities of the VP of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting:Lead the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and 8-Ks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.Oversee technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards (ASC 606, ASC 842, etc.).Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, investor relations, FP&A, and tax to ensure alignment on key accounting issues.Partner with external auditors to manage audits and reviews.Serve as a subject matter expert on complex accounting issues, providing guidance to senior management and the board of directors.Drive process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of reporting systems.Mentor and develop a high-performing team of accounting professionals.Requirements for the VP of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting:15+ years of progressive experience, with 5 years of recent SEC reporting, technical accounting, and in leadership roles.CPA required, with deep knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, technical accounting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.Public accounting experience required.Proven track record of leading teams, managing complex projects, and delivering high-quality results.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity.Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to influence and guide at all levels of the organization.Strategic mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Salary range: $180,000-$200,000, depending on experience.
